Questions about serving
01Which teams can I join?
You can serve on the welcome and ushering team, as a parking marshal, in the worship team, in media (filming services for Life Renewal Television and our Facebook page), with Sifaka Isandla Welfare Outreach, or as a Life Group leader or intern.
02Can I serve at eThekwini and eThembeni?
Yes. Our teams serve at both the eThekwini campus in South Beach, Durban, and the eThembeni campus in Charlottedale, KwaDukuza. Tell us which campus you attend and we will connect you with a team there.
03How do I get started?
Send us a WhatsApp on 076 024 5728 or call the church office on 031 321 5315. Let us know which team interests you and someone from that team will contact you.
04Do I need experience?
No. Bring a willing heart and the team will show you what to do. Each team trains new members as they serve alongside more experienced people.
05How do I become a Life Group leader?
Life Group leaders and interns grow through our regular empowerment sessions. Start by joining a Life Group, then speak to your Life Group leader or the church office about the next step.
06What does Sifaka Isandla do?
Sifaka Isandla Welfare Outreach is how Life Renewal reaches beyond the church walls, meeting the spiritual and everyday needs of families in the communities around our campuses.
